TickerPro Server

[TickerPro] TickerPro Server is solution for transferring data from different sources to client application. As an example we provide solution for Omega Research ProSuite 2000i (ORP) as a source and MS Excel 2002 as a client application.

Technical Details:

This product does not use DDE technology. The reason why we decided use RTD instead of DDE is following: DDE servers often try to send messages into user's applications when they are not ready to receive data (for example, application is doing heavy calculations or any modal dialog box is opened). This leads to loss of data updates and sometimes even to crashes. RTD technology allows avoid such problems.

Main advantage of TickerPro Server is expandability. Using base TickerPro Server functionality and developing additional connectors to the feeds, databases and third-party applications we could easy adjust the product for customers requirements.

Current release includes solution for Omega Research ProSuite 2000i as a data feed and MS Excel 2002 as a client application.

The product consists on following components:

Omega Research ProSuite 2000i dll extension;
TickerPro Service;
Sample of Excel sheet, sample Omega ProSuite EL script and installation guide.

The product allows you gather all necessary information for analyses. You could easily add, change or remove data for transfer. In current version you could receive data from TradeStation charts or RadarScreen.
